Coronavirus Coffee Shop Update

A Note from Stanton Daily Grind on Services during Coronavirus

As the situation around coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, we have taken additional steps to best meet the needs of our customers, employees, and vendors, in keeping with guidance from the CDC and PA Department of Health.

Store Hours
Regular coffee shop hours are Monday-Friday, 7am-6pm. Saturday, 8am-5pm. Sunday, 9am-3pm. At this time, our hours remain unchanged.

Social Distancing & Masks
In keeping with guidance from government and health officials, all employees, customers, and vendors are reminded to maintain 6ft physical distance between one-another, and everyone is required to wear a mask on the premises.

Coffee App / Call Ahead
Customers can download the free Joe Coffee app on their smart phones, or can call ahead to place prepared food and beverage orders in advance: (724) 635-3952. All orders are for carry-out service only. Call us when you arrive to the parking lot, and we’ll bring your order to you.

Pre-packaged food products (La Prima Coffee, Stanton Milling Buckwheat Pancake Mix and traditional Pancake Mix, Oak Lodge Maple Syrup, Slope Hill Honey, Sib’s Sweet Shoppe Candies, etc.) can be ordered and paid for by phone: (724) 635-3952. All purchases are for carry-out only. Call us when you arrive to the parking lot, and we’ll bring your order to you.

Online Shopping
Customers can purchase our Stanton Milling products (i.e. Stanton’s Own Self-rising Buckwheat Pancake Mix) on Amazon. Go to Amazon.com and search “Stanton’s Own Old-Fashioned”, or call (724) 635-3952.

Menu & Services
Our menu selection may be limited at this time, due to the availability of certain products, and in an effort to prevent any waste during “stay at home” orders. As always, customers can let us know what they need in advance, and we’ll do our best to get those items for them. As needed, we reserve the right to limit purchases of high demand products.

We have always employed safe food handling and sanitation practices that meet or exceed guidelines. In response to COVID-19, we have increased frequency of cleaning of high-touch areas. We installed Plexiglas to separate the staff and customers at checkout and pickup areas. Restrooms and water fountains are closed to the public.

Food & Beverage Preparation
As we focus on the health and safety of our customers and employees, our self-service areas are temporarily closed until further notice. We are preparing all food and beverage in disposable to-go containers, and are pre-packing as many items as we can. The seating areas are closed (except for tables reserved for employee breaks).

Employee Health and Safety
We continue to provide our employees with information and tools to keep them safe, including the directive to stay at home and get checked if they experience any symptoms. Please help us extend a sincere thank you to our employees who work hard every day to ensure customers have access to things they need.

Our dedicated management team is continually addressing any and all changes to policies and procedures as conditions change. We appreciate the patience and understanding of our customers as we work through this together.
